Minutes: Carol Cahall. Motion to approve-Tim Barkley; Second Bob Cage.

Finance Committee/Treasurer/Budget: Denny Ahalt - Balance 04/30/07 = $38,828.38; Receipts = $2725.00; Disbursements -$3,346.99; Balance 05/31/07 = $38,236.39.

Executive Committee: Aaron Kahn. The chamber has provided display units for business literature at the Library. Aaron is still requesting that committee chairmen update the committee membership lists.

Membership: Dennis Emerson. The membership is now 351. 5 New members joined in May. Creative Mortgage Solutions; Chevy Chase Bank; Jimmy's Lawn and Landscape Maintenance; WOW Floors, Inc; Fastframe.

Ambassador Committee: Ellie Bonde. There is a committee meeting today immediately after the general membership meeting. Ellie announced that the ambassador committee is now providing "free of charge" chamber name badges for all members requesting them.

Professional Development: Marlene Titus. On June 12 there will be a Quickbooks training seminar at Carroll Community College. There are also plans for a "Business Plan" Workshop and workshop for "Marketing Plans"

Business Expo 2008: Howard & Jeanne LeRoux. On Thursday, June 28th at 8:30 am at the Vintage Coffee House we are having our first meeting. All members are welcome even urged to attend this important committee meeting. The Bus expo is set for April 19, 2008.

Advertising & Marketing: Keir Knight. Showed the book of "Orange Business Pages"; Reminded of the business card exchanges. June 14 At Adventure Park; 8 am to 9am; Olive Leaf Café, Mt. Airy 4 pm to 7 pm. Advertising is within budget for the year thus far. There are photos of the mini-golf tournament on the web site. The Library and Town Hall are official distribution centers for the phone book. A report will be provided at the July membership meeting on LLC for the phone book.

Social Committee: Leslie Brenneman. Raised $700. The Golf tournament raised $2480 for Charity.

Carroll County Chamber: Tim Barkley. The Carroll County Chamber will hold a joint meeting at the Library on Sept 5th at 9 am. The cost to provide breakfast for this event is $800-$1000. Motion made by Tom Watkins to have the Chamber pick up the Cost. Second by Paul Clay. Approved by unanimous vote.

Frederick Chamber: John Beck. No Report.

Old Business: Carol Cahall is taking care of getting signs at the entrance to town repaired.

Town Report: Mayor Johnson. The Mayor is handing out the Chamber's new member packets to people he visits. The town is using the new phone books. The town newsletter format has been changed. EDC has a guide to new business. The committee needs members The Mayor is urging all residents to use common sense and conserve water.
