BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE
The Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce will hold its fourth Business Card
Exchange of the year at Susquehanna Bank on Monday June 9th from 4-7pm. Hosts for the Business Card Exchange
are Mike Himmel and the staff of Susquehanna Bank.
Catering will be provided by The Country Kettle, owned by Jim and Amy
Crooks. We hope to see you all there.
CATHERINE’S A WINNER!
The Chamber’s third Business Card Exchange of 2003 was held at Lorien on May 8th and was hosted by Paula Wilhelm from Lorien and Carol Blackburn from Gazette Newspapers.
The door prize - a $100 gift certificate given by Weekenders coordinator,
Donnis Klein – was won by Catherine Nazarene of the Catherine Ditman Group.
PINS/PLAQUES AVAILABLE
Name pins are available to all members for $9. Plaques with "Member of the
Chamber of Commerce" on them are available for $11.

JUNE 5th MEETING
Our next membership meeting will be held on June 5th at 8am at the
Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire House on Watersville Rd and Main St. Please enter the
building by the back door behind the building.
We plan to discuss the next Business Card Exchange; our packet for new members;
the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce breakfast and many other items of
interest to the members.
We are also considering amending the bylaws of the Chamber to provide Associate
Membership to non-profits. Your input is very important to us.
MT. AIRY BREAKFAST
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring "The Chamber on Location:
Mt. Airy" Networking Breakfast at the New Windsor Service Center in New Windsor.
It will be on May 27th at 8am. Mr. Frank Johnson, former president of
the Mt. Airy Town Council, will be the speaker. The cost for breakfast is $12.
The cost for breakfast and a booth for your company is $25.00. Those interested
please contact the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce at 410-848-9050 before May
20th.
MARKETING & AMBASSADORS MEETING
The Marketing and Ambassadors Committees met to discuss the brochures and fliers
that are to be printed; questionnaires for new and old members; ways to get more
members; visitations to new businesses and future marketing opportunities. Many
of these items will be raised at our June meeting.
