FEBRUARY MEETING
Our monthly meeting will be held on Thursday 3rd February – at the Mt
Airy Fire Hall (corner of Watersville Rd and Main St, enter through the back
doors).
There will be a very full agenda – including discussions on dues for 2006, the
Phone Book and the upcoming Business Fair, to be held May 7th – so
please plan to attend!
BUSINESS FAIR
The date of our Business Fair has been changed to Saturday May 7th.
The event will be held at the Fireman’s Activities Grounds on Twin Arch Rd from
11am to 5pm. Booth space starts at $50 and sponsorships are available, starting
at $200.

BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE FEBRUARY 24TH
Our next Business Card Exchange will be held on Thursday, February 24, from
4-7pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd.
This event is sponsored by Stauffer's Funeral Home, The Blossom & Basket
Boutique, Inspiration Point and The Secret Stork.
With so many new members it is sure to be a great event with lots of new faces.
It is also a final chance to sign up for the Mount Airy Phone Book!
2005 PLANNING MEETING
The planning meeting for 2005 Chamber activities was held January 26 at Lorien Assisted Living. Thank you to Paula Wilhelm for her hospitality and a
great lunch.
Topics discussed included: The possibility of the Chamber hiring a part-time
paid administrative person; the advertising budget for 2005 and the advertising
strategy for the year; membership retention, outreach and the Ambassadors
committee; future strategies for donating money raised for local charities and
causes; the Chamber’s dues for 2006.
Many of these topics will be discussed further at our monthly meetings and, as
always, the various committees will be looking for extra help!
If you are interested in joining a committee please contact any member of th
Chamber executive (or come to a meeting and raise your hand!)
