MEMBERSHIP MEETINGOur monthly
meeting will be held on Thursday November 3rd at 8am – at the
Mt Airy Fire Hall (corner of Watersville Rd and Main St, park at the
rear/lower level and enter through the back doors).As well as our
usual full agenda we will be voting on the slate of officers for 2006:President: Carol
Cahall, The Main Event.

membership meeting a motion was passed to raise dues to $85 in 2006, and
$95 in 2007. The
decision to raise dues was made in anticipation of increased
administrative costs with the upcoming retirement of Membership Secretary
and uber-volunteer Audrey Stapf.NWSB CARD EXCHANGEOur most recent
Business Card Exchange was held October 12th at the New
Windsor State Bank. Manager Denny Ahalt and his staff welcomed more
than 55 members to the event – which was catered by Catering 2 You.
Numerous door prizes were awarded.This was another
very successful networking event and we thank Denny and his staff for
hosting us.GALA DINNER DANCE
The first annual
Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner Dance is scheduled to
take place on Saturday, January 14, 2006 from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. This
"black tie optional" event will be held at the Gold Star American Legion
Post 191 and promises to be a very special occasion.We are excited
about celebrating the tremendous growth and numerous accomplishments of
the Chamber with a catered dinner and dancing.
Businesses already

been mailed to all Chamber members. Tickets prices are $35 per person –
