PLANNING MEETING
REPORT
The Chamber’s
annual planning meeting was held last month at Lorien Assisted Living.
Existing ideas were further developed and new ideas brought forward.
Committee budgets for 2007 were also discussed.
Action items and
budgets from this meeting will be put to the membership over the course of
coming months, at the monthly Thursday morning meetings.
Many thanks to
Paula Wilhelm for hosting the meeting and providing a delicious lunch!
BUSINESS CARD
EXCHANGE REPORT
Thank you to The Main Event for hosting our September Business Card Exchange.
We had more than
40 people in attendance, including 14 visitors, so there were a lot of new
faces and a whole lot of networking going on!
Door prizes won
included: Champagne Glasses from The Main Event – won by visitor Rita
Alexander. Windsock from The Main Event – won by Jeanne LeRoux, Mt.
Airy Dent Repair. Corkscrew by Costco – won by Howard LeRoux, Mt. Airy
Dent Repair.
The good fortune
of the LeRoux family was purely coincidental and was witnessed by a large
group of people!

hosts, Carol and Tim Cahall and their staff, and to Dalia Schulman of
Knittin’ Chicks for catering.
